Mocking Valentine’s Day may bring a sigh of relief to all the singles of the world like myself, but I’m not sure, though, how skewering a section that could include bloggers opining on the value of being single, or single parenting, or gender violence, or, hell, that other V-Day?
Plus, why mess with those sections?
Arts and culural journalists are already facing the axe at many publications, so why should a prominent publication like the Huff Post fuck with the field even more? I mean, it is a respectable institution that pays its writers.
